HISTORY OF THE CLANS
Ice, a snow white, short-furred she-cat and the leader of the loners, and Storm, a white tom with black patches and the leader of the rogues, were mates and determined to bring their two groups together to live in harmony. Settling down in the moor, the two groups lived in peace and took in any stray cats that might might cross paths with them. Ice was fun-loving and very laid back, always ready for the next adventure. In battle, she was fierce and brave, but lacked strategy and intelligence. Storm, on the other hand, was aggressive and focused on their survival. He had quick wit and was cunning. The two were natural leaders and complimented each other well. Unfortunately, it came at a price, as they were always at each other's throats. Ice wanted to focus on finding better territory; Storm thought that they should prepare for lead-bare and stay where they were. Even though they loved each other, all they could do was bicker.
Finally, Ice decided to leave. Most of the loners and some of the rogues who agreed with her, went to. They moved to the nearby woods and became Iceclan, Ice taking on the suffix star and eventually being blessed with nine lives from her ancestors. The rogues and some loners who remained became Stormclan, Storm also becoming Stormstar and receiving nine lives. Peace reigned for many moons, both clans sticking to themselves. Iceclan quickly found a camp to suit them, while Stormclan adjusted to the moor and started digging tunnels. Both accepted any new cats who might want a home, grateful for new warriors.
The peace couldn't last forever. Stormstar wanted more diverse territory to protect them and moved to take Icestar's land. War erupted between the two clans. Though many of their clanmates survived, Icestar and Stormstar were killed. Stormstar had killed Icestar in battle, but he had received fatal wounds that killed him. When the two clans had realized what had happened, the battle ceased, neither clan winning. They each went back to their respective camps, forced to carry on without their leaders.

THE TRIBE'S HISTORY
No cat knows where the tribe came from. They are a mystery that has always been there. There is a legend that exists. The legend follows:
A cat stumbled over another pile of rocks. He was starving and tired and wanted to rest. The rest of his tribe followed behind, all in the same state. They wearily pulled themselves over rocks and piles of dirt, trying to stay up. A cat yelled from somewhere in the back of the tribe. There was a cave ahead. It looked like an adequate shelter and they all had a sudden burst of energy. Running to safety, they ran up the path to the cave and fell to the ground, aching for sleep. Most fell asleep instantly, but their healer and leader explored restlessly. The leader, Light in the Darkness, wandered into a separate room, a small cavern almost completely flooded. The moon shone down on the lake, causing a reflection. A ghost cat appeared, later to be known as an ancestor.
"Light in the Darkness. I come to you with news of your tribe. This is to be your home. Do not fear the winter of death, for it will bring new life as well. No matter what your tribe says, stay. You will lead them as you have before, and they will trust you." As soon as the cat was there, he was gone. The moon wasn't visible through the hole in the top of the cave anymore. Light in the Darkness walked out of the cavern, shook by what he saw. He announced what happened to his tribe. "This is our home."
