Glancing down at the mouse, he said, "Okay, but make sure to eat something soon. I don't need a starving medicine cat." He sniffed the prey before taking a bite of it. It was a bit dry, but that was normal for the time of year. Leaf-bare had just ended and the forest was starting to get greener. The forest here never got too green because of the climate though. The mountains made it hard for them to ever be rid of snow but it could be worse still.
Grey clouds loomed putside of the den and rain threatened to spill from them. A brief boom of thunder rang in the air, but it was far off. "I guess we'll be getting rain then. Some rain will bring the prey and plants back. I just hope it's not too hard."

"If it does," Silverbrook chirped, "The mountains will drive the water downwards." Turning back to her herb store, she began her usual task of puling out the old and dey herbs, "I'm glad the rains have come, I need to collect more thyme and mint, and those herbs need lots of water."

The rain had started pouring down now. It trapped them in Silverbrook's den unless they wanted to risk going out there. "I feel bad for any cats that may live at the foot of the mountains. It'll drown them out." The mouse from before was now finished and he buried the remains in the ground. "How long do you think it will last?" He asked. ( aria feel free to join in if you want!)

Lionsun was calm as the rain droplets fell from the sky.Unlike many of clanmates, she didn't resident the rain. The sound of water was very calm to her ears and this she-cat wasn't afraid of getting wet.Scary mouses mouse the lot.The image of cats jumping, hissing at the water and racing into the warrior's den from a few moments ago was humorous, indeed. Didn't they know how to going about their in unfavorable conditions? The orange tabby purred, as rose and head out the den. She acted as if it was an everyday event, even thou the rain quickly dampened her pelt. She walked over to Medine's cat to see her leader, Ashstar and their Medicine cat, Silverbrook in conversation. She walked in and took a respectful seat.

"The rain will come and go... As always." Silverbrook chirped to Ashstar as she looked out her den. Glancing at the bramble wall, she added to the new cat who had just walked in, "You look drenched, have you come to take shelter?"

"Hello Lionsun," Ashstar said, mewing to the new arrival. He sighed, adding, "I suppose we'll have to arrange for more hunting after the rain. Though, I don't know if we'll find much of anything." "Care to join me later Lionsun?" He asked.
(Sorry for the short and late post.)

Lionsun smiled at her leader. "Hello, Ashstar." It was nice to have a normal conversation with someone for once."I would be honored to join you."

"Has there been anymore problems with hawks lately?" Silverbrook asked, glancing down at Ashstars wounds, "I don't want anything like this to happen again."

"We'll probably have to wait until dusk to hunt," He replied with a sigh. The rain didn't seem to be letting up anytime soon, so it could be a while. "I haven't heard anything about hawk attacks, but you never know. That hawk could've just been one that flew to our territory looking for more prey." None of the warriors had reported seeing any and Stormclan hadn't mentioned anything about hawk attacks at the last gathering. Of course, if there had been attacks, they wouldn't want to look weak.

“I just hope they went away.” Silverbrook pondered as she curled her tail, “I don’t want anyone hunting near the stream withiugh a guard, we have to make sure every cat it safe when they go hunting.” ( finchsong ?)
